When I was a little girl, I'd grab my grandma's whisk and go to her back deck where I gave lengthy talks to the trees, my dolls, the wind. I was actually a fairly shy child -- something that follwed me into my adult years -- but man, could I talk a storm when you handed me a stage and a kitchen utensil.

I didn't have much to say back then but fast forward 4+ decades and God has given me plenty of material. Some of my favorite talk topics and titles include:

The years between those back deck monologues and now have been a fertile ground for wisdom, experience and empathy. From health emergencies in the middle of the ocean to shattered ankles -- and dreams -- to anxiety and adrenal fatigue, that little Kristy sure has seen a lot.

But through it all, God has kindly, compassionately and faithfully restored and redeemed everything for His purpose. 

Above all, I want women to know that there is more to life than the rat race and it's mostly about less. Less striving, less stress, less busy, less fear, less rule following, less check-list relationships.
